The International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP), sponsored by the IEEE Signal Processing Society, is the premier forum for the presentation of technological advances and research results in the fields of theoretical, experimental, and applied image and video processing. ICIP 2014, the 21st in the series that has been held annually since 1994, brings together leading engineers and scientists in image and video processing from around the world.

VicarVision took part at the poster session. We had the chance to present our new automatic tool for remotely measuring heart rate of people using a standard RGB camera. Our paper presents the algorithmic developments and the experimental validations of the system using a ground truth dataset. Our paper attracted a lot of attention by the attendees and we were happy to show a video of our demonstration at our stand. It has also been very nice to meet with other researchers from all over the world working in related areas to discuss and share ideas.
