We are delighted with our new member in the office: the emotional robot Buddy. We’ve been working on our social robot project Buddy-BeWell for almost a year. We’ve started our first data collection session in collaboration with Erasmus University. In this session we tested out some interactions Buddy can have with older users. We also collected videos of this interactions, to validate and improve the emotion recognition from Buddy’s perspective.
